All Hail the Warrior
A sleepless night met Silas.
After some time, and forcefulness on behalf of the Suenella and Sayalah, the crowd dispersed, and the chanting ended. A dozen people, possibly more, managed to push by and approach Silas, their questions ranging from people asking for blessings and cures to others wish to be trained by him in the âways of a God.â The murmuring and chattering echoed into the night as he stood, watching them leave and hearing them question one another about if he was the second coming of their fallen twin Gods, and if he was there to end their war with the empire. Silas, feeling defeated in all but the battle, was immensely grateful when Talluina escorted the surviving emissaries of House Sonju to guest quarters in the cathedral; with the carnage-ridden ship still a mess with gore and blood, no one complained about being set up away from it for the night.
Still, high up on the third floor of the cathedral with a window overlooking the twinkling twilight that was the sleeping city in the trees, Silas could not keep his eyes shit more than a handful of minutes at a time.
His mind wandered, slowly watching the sky grow black before fading into the light of morning. In between that time, he decides to allocate his new stat points, review his stats, and then check out his [Spirit Gun] node choices.
With all of his dancing, Dexterity had grown to be his dominant trait. Silas didnât necessarily think this was a bad thing, as his agility, flexibility, and quick reactions had all been due to that particular trait, but he did worry about other aspects of himself falling behind. Currently Wisdom and Intelligence were his lowest, at 59 and 64 respectively. Thinking back on recent battles, his mana bar bottoming out had been an issue on Labu LaRella, and he had dropped down lower than he thought during the battle against Rainierâs horrors just outside of his window. He also wanted to look into unlocking more abilities and training up his current ones to receive more node choices for his stockpile of ability points.
He decided to just go for it, putting 6 points into Wisdom and 1 into Intelligence, bringing them both up to 65. His current maximum mana went up to 1,180, nearly matching his health. Silas felt he was still a bit top heavy, with his physical stats above his mental ones, but he was close enough to a balanced build now at the very least. He gave a quick check of his stats before moving on to his node choices.

After letting the swirling text of his status page dissipate, he stared out at the stars for a short while, seeing if sleep was destined for him, before giving up on it again.
